The basic tenet of Sidharism is that men become Gods and women become Goddesses. How is this achieved? What are the ways and means to achieve this? And how many varieties of Gods are there?
To give a high level view, humans gain divine energy and progress to the level of Gods. Divine energy is present in outer space and is brought down to our world by Sidhars.
An analogy to divine energy would be how electricity is harnessed, transmitted and reaches your place to power different things. Consider, in its raw form, water is flowing down a hill. A dam is built, generators are installed, electricity is created, people monitor the electrical usage and transmit it through wires until it reaches you. This. can be used to power different devices depending on what you want.
Similarly, Divine energy is present in outer space in raw form. This energy has been harnessed by Sidhars, brought down to our world, stored in temples and can be gained by humans. Once your divine energy increases, you can utilize it to increase your wealth, improve your health, be happy and keep the peace in your family and community.
So Siddhukalai Atravargal (one who has gone beyond performing miracles) and attained enlightenment are Sidhars.

H.H. Sidhar Arasayogi Karuwoorar performed Rajayogam and revealed the greatest treasure of most of the Kaayanthiri Mantrams to all of mankind.
He also established Karukulam, Gurukulam, Tharukulam and Thirukulam for the benifit of mankind.

Sidhar is a Tamil word made up by combining Sidhi and Atravargal. Sidhi means miracles and Atravargal means one who has transcended the art of performing miracles. Sidhars are spiritual masters who went beyond performing miracles to accomplish the final yogam of attaining the ultimate perfection as becoming one with God.
