- How to Pray
"This page provides instructions on how to pray, suitable prayer attire, and the ideal times to perform your prayers."

1.Getting ready to pray
- Sidharism recommends that you take a bath and dress in comfortable, loose fitting, preferably white clothes.
- Dedicate a space where you can sit comfortably on the ground, feet over each other and facing west. Keep a picture of Gurudevar (you can print one from this site) and the God / Godess you are praying to.
- Prayers are recommended to be said 108 times at each session or a minimum of 48 times.
- If possible, you can burn some incense sticks and keep some fruits as offering.

2. Praying
Praying can be done by either saying the prayers out loud or within your mind. It is recommended that you start by praying aloud and then shift to praying within your mind, once you are comfortable with the prayer
3. When to pray
Praying is recommended to be done either early in the morning or late in the evening. If you cannot do either of these, midday is also ok. Timings will vary on the prayer you are saying but will be between 15 minutes and 45 minutes. You should also say the prayers at the same time for a minimum of 108 days.
